I'm writing this entry on Thursday, October 14th, which is a sea day – that is, we are not in port today. I can't post from the ship, so I'll post this one either tomorrow in Cozumel, or on Sunday back in Port Canaveral.
I learned this morning that I get to undergo a complete medical tomorrow! Most of it will take place on the ship, but a couple of the procedures, like the chest x-ray and EKG, require me to visit a clinic on Cozumel.
I was surprised and a bit disappointed to hear this. I was really looking forward to my day off in Cozumel. Oh well, there will be plenty of other Fridays in Cozumel. And to look on the bright side, I'll get to see some of the island I haven't seen before. Apparently the clinic is a bit of a drive from the ship.
I'll keep this post short because the damn maintenance crew has noticed me wearing my headphones as I sit here typing in the shade on deck 5 forward (the crew recreation deck). It must have looked too pleasant to the maintenance guys, so they decided it was time to turn the deck into a workshop. They've fired up their power sanders and saws and the noise has made it impossible to use the deck for relaxation or recreation. I know they do it on purpose; they have a real workshop they could be using. I'll have to talk to the Captain about this...

Bastard noise-makers. ;-)
Nice talking to you today, Papster. I am glad the medical was good. Indeed, indeed, indeed.
Love you!
