We were all shocked at the news that arrived on the morning of the 27th that Peter's wife had died. Peter left us in Nassau to fly back to Poland.

I do not know why or how she died, only that it was unexpected.

Peter, our latest drummer, was here just one week and one day. During that time he was busy learning the show and doing his training, so I hadn't yet gotten to know him very well. I didn't know he was married, or that he had a young son.

Peter had no funds to get back to Poland so we took up a collection for him. Simon, Omar and I started it off. I don't know how much was collected, but it was more than enough to get him a ticket back home according to Simon. Whatever it was, he'll be able to use it.
